Jessica Hampton

Jessica Hampton is a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge for the Action Research on Research Culture project. Her academic background is in Linguistics and for her doctoral thesis she conducted a mixed-method study on language attitudes comparatively across Emilian (a Gallo-Italic language family of northern Italy) and Esperanto (a so-called planned language created by L.L. Zamenhof at the end of 1800s). She acts as UCML (University Council of Modern Languages) Early Career Academics Special Interest Group Representative for Linguistics and co-convenor for the International Ecolinguistics Association.
