Dr. Michaela Valentová currently works as a researcher at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In her previous work as an energy efficiency policy analyst, she coordinated and contributed to international projects on energy efficiency policy, efficient appliances, energy services and Energy Performance Contracting. She has published a number of articles on energy efficiency and RES related issues. She also worked as an external expert for the Institute of Energy and Transport of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Since 2017, she is a member of the Evaluation committee of the National Programme for Energy Savings of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Michaela studied for her MSc at the Central European University, Budapest and holds her PhD from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
