Sumedha is a PhD student in the Politics and International Studies department at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include global governance, financial inclusion, and emerging identity systems. She is working with Professor Diane Coyle on research related to measuring progress, with a focus on financial technology. Prior to Cambridge, she worked on the World Economic Forum’s Blockchain & Digital Assets team and a global development-focused media company. Sumedha holds a BA in Economics and Master of Public Policy from the University Virginia.
