Sumedha Deshmukh worked on the Measuring Progress project at the Bennett Institute. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Cambridge and working on research projects related to digital public infrastructure and financial technology. Her broad interests include global governance, financial inclusion, and digital identity systems. Prior to Cambridge, she worked on the World Economic Forum’s Blockchain & Digital Assets team and a global development-focused media company. Sumedha holds a BA in Economics and Master of Public Policy from the University Virginia.
