Annual Public Policy lecture with Paul Johnson

On 04 December 2017 Paul Johnson, Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, gave the annual Cambridge Public Policy lecture.

Speaking on the difficult choices governments have to make, he spoke on austerity and the size of the state in the UK, the reality of who pays income tax, and challenges of wealth distribution across the population.

The lecture ‘Choices in public policy: evidence, fairness and the art of the possible’ was hosted by the Department of Politics and International Studies and the Cambridge Institute for Public Policy.
