Progress, its definition and measurement, is a theme which has long preoccupied Diane Coyle. In this year’s Fitzwilliam Foundation Lecture, she explored two key questions – how can we measure progress effectively in the 21st century, and how, when faced with an overload of data in the modern age, can we make the right choices in what to include in our measurements?
