Bennett Institute Annual Conference 2020

Booking is now open for tickets for the Bennett Institute's annual conference on 16 April at Churchill College, Cambridge. Our 2020 conference will be exploring our current strands in public policy research, featuring leading speakers in economics, democracy, governance and progress.

2020 has already been dubbed the decade where decisive action must be taken on the major problems of our time. This year we address questions about the future of the smart state and society: how can we shape the state in the digital age, how will climate change alter democracy, how should the value of social cohesion be factored into our economies, and how can we evolve our industrial strategies to create equitable and sustainable wealth?

We are delighted to welcome Lord David Sainsbury, Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, and Geoff Mulgan CBE (Chief Executive of Nesta 2011-2019) as our evening plenary speaker, chaired by Professor Stephen Toope, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.

The event is free, but booking is essential. Book your place here
